and then some (more haulage)

A perfect little package...

Taking advantage of the free dilivery on Cult last weekend, I bought two bottles of the rivaling topcoat Seche Vite.. What i really needed was Poshe top coat - strangely they no longer stock this - expect a comparative review!

Also bought CND.c Stickey base coat.

The rest of the items are from Space.NK, Rococo base coat, Chanticaille le stylo in black and Chanticaille faux cils longest lash mascara.. these are all repurchases (full reviews coming soon)

Anyone tried any of these, share your thoughts below..

Chanticaille Faux Cils Longest Lash Mascara REVIEW

I absolutely adore this mascara, it delivers everything it promises - Chanticaille yet another outstanding product.

SO what does chanticaille promise?
"Faux Cils Longest Lash created the super-volume of the original Faux Cils Mascara with additional peptides that build stronger, longer lashes. Simply apply like a normal mascara. After two weeks, natural lashes appear longer and fuller."

The verdict?
True black, amazingly dark, definately legthening, full blown false lash effect and no clumping - HG! If you loved the original then this one is going to blow you you away.

The brush is the perfect size to reach every lash without hitting the top of your lid, or poking you in the eye. The formula is perfect, not too gloopy not too wet, the waxy consistency manages to give you a great curl (even without lash curlers) and this holds through out the day not mention a non offensive3 rose scent. Even though it is not waterproof - it doesnt smudge and makes it so much easier to remove at the end of the day.

Although it promises results in 2 weeks I saw legthening effects alot sooner. Its perfect as its a 2 in 1 mascara/treatment and you only use it once a day. It beats any other treatments I have ever tried. Its so simple you wont forget to use it. I have been using this mascara since last summer, and I ran out only 2 months ago - unlike most mascaras the shelf life is alot longer and doesnt dry out so you can use it to its full. You can wear a simple coat for the day time and really layer it up for a truely dramatic look. I have since repurchased as I just couldnt find anything just as good. It comes in at a massive £60 ($70) a rather hefty price, though it is a premium brand that delivers everything it promises with exceptional performances.

NB - I wouldnt personally pay this price if it were just a mascara but it is a miracle legthening and volumizing treatment too.

As you have seen in previous blog posts, if there is one brand I'd happily spend small fortunes on, it'd be Chanticaille with out a doubt.

My search for the perfect mascara has definately ended - though maybe a cheaper dupe wouldnt go a miss :)

Just a lil bit of hauling...

Happy Easter All!
Hopefully your enjoying the chocolates and the 4 day weekend :D

Finally, a MAC relatively close to me... what better excuse than that to go and shop hey?! I've had these things in my possession for a few weeks now so I definitely have a lot things to say about them.

  • MAC Face and Body - Yes! I've caved in to all the hype around this product and finally own it. Verdict - I like it, I really really like it for an every day foundation. [If you want a full review please request in comment box below]

  • MAC Select Sheer Pressed Powder - I've been using Laura Mercier translucent for so long, I wanted a change and seen as I've switched to a lighter coverage foundation - a little bit of extra cover wouldn't go a miss. This powder is really light weight and surprisingly has a great texture, so far so good.
  • MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural - Sun Power - Really like the warmth to this shade, gives you that gorgeous hue to the skin, perfect for contouring the face as it has no shimmer. I also love taking this to my temples and into my hair line.
  • MAC eye shadow refill - Embark - I'm using this one to fill in the brows, perfect match for my current hair colour. Leaves me with that not so hard edged look to the brows.
  • MAC Pro Long Wear Lip Pencil - Kiss Me Quick - I bought the hot pink one to this last summer and adored it, it is by far the longest wearing lip liner I have ever come across, and since, I have been lusting over the red. Seriously these lip pencils are the real stars to any party!
  • Mac Lip Pencil - Have To Have It - This one I bought to match a lipstick they didn't actually have in stock (forgotten the name now) but its a limited edition liner so I figured ill buy this now and well defo pick up the nude-ish lippy I tried on. (Fear not, mac has it on record for me)

and thats it.. didn't go wild or anything but definitely think I'm getting more use out of these products than I would have if I went for any of the collection colours.

Anyone bought any thing from MAC lately, do you find the collections over hyped? Have you tried anything mentioned above, what's your verdict?

Hear from you soon,
Inner Belle

Heres a quickie - Hair Up Do...

Last week bought the brits a glimpse of what finally commences spring.. abit of sunshine! YAY (not that this lasted long... rain rain go away come again another day)

Cue sunnies... So decided to make a day of it.

This is a style a stumbled upon by accident; a quick solution for my kinky hair ;) (for those of you who go to bed with your hair tied back)

I did not want to subject my hair to heat damage so hence the updo!

step one - Part a fringe

Step 2 - Back comb crown section of hair
(add a little hair spray for extra volume and hold)
Im loving Aussie's Volume and Shine spray!

Step 3 - Push up and pin down

Step 4 - Tie remaing bit of hair in a pony tail
(optional)

Et voila...

nice and easy updo!!
